What is the purpose of this study?
Researchers at Bloom Science are conducting a study focused on the microbiome (the bacteria that live in our gut) and the impact diet has on the microbiome and our health.
This study is designed to collect stool samples from approximately 150 subjects – currently on or will soon be starting the ketogenic diet or a low-carbohydrate diet -- between the ages of 3 and 70 years of age. No medicine or medical procedures are involved in this study.
There is no cost to you or your family.
The goal of this study is to build a stool sample repository to enable future research on neurological disease.

Am I eligible to participate?
You or your child may be eligible if
- Participant is between the age of 3 and 70 years
- Participant has initiated the ketogenic diet or a low-carbohydrate diet (or plans to soon)
you are ineligible iF
- Diagnosed with gastrointestinal disease or suffer from severe constipation
